This is a concept study. The Rainey House is not a TopShelf Studios client, and this work was not commissioned or endorsed by the venue. Their name and logo belong to their owners and appear here only to show the design exploration.

Why we studied it

The Rainey House didn't have a website, so guests searching Rainey Street had nothing to land on. We wanted to show what the bar could look like online if it matched the personality of its logo.

How we built the concept

Every concept study follows the same process we use for clients. We study the venue's logo, look and neighborhood. We map what guests search for when they're looking for a place like it. Then we design a mobile-first homepage around the brand, with real, crawlable text and pages planned for those searches.

It's the same way we start with every new venue: we design your homepage before we ever meet, so you can judge the work on your own phone.
